Cambridge dictionary defines jewellery/jewelry as “decorative objects worn on your clothes or body that are usually made from valuable metals, such as gold and silver, and precious stones.”
Both “jewellery” and “jewelry” are correct spellings of the word, with “jewellery” being the British English spelling and “jewelry” being the American English spelling. Other English-speaking countries may use either spelling, but they often follow the British spelling.
The funny thing is that many who use the British spelling simultaneously use the American pronunciation. Instead of saying “jewel – le – ry” most British people still say “jewel – ry” which ultimately undermines the spelling difference.
In short, if you’re British its jewellery, if you’re American its jewelry.
